Amazing and energetic, the three brothers and two sisters who comprise Njava find their origins in Madagascar. They moved to Europe some years ago seeking a wider audience for their music.

In their music and dancing that accompanies it, you can both see and hear influences of the Hindi, Polynesian and South African cultures that inform the culture of Madagascar. To this they have added an urban twist from the years of living and listening in Europe.
