Alexis and Adonis are the brothers in the Puentes Brothers. Born in Artemesia, a small town 60 miles outside of Havana, they grew up across the street from a cultural centre where their father was a music teacher specializing in guitar.
Surrounded by musicians, their early musical education included jamming with Ibrahim Ferrer and Celina Gonzolez on traditional music nights at the centre and touring Cuba in their father's band.
