The Waifs - Australia

The Waifs began in 1992 when two sisters, Donna and Vikki Simpson, wanted something more than playing "every great song that was ever written" in the front room of their local pub in a small town on the south coast of Australia. After six months on the road, they were in North West Australia when they met Josh Cunningham who joined the band which was to become The Waifs.

Their tales of apples, transvestites, true hearts, mothers and love have taken them from the front rooms of pubs to one of the most successful independent bands in Australia.
